Looking for Romance in Sardinia?

by Phil

A Deal with a Stranger

There are not many romantic contemporary novels set in Sardinia, and certainly not many written in English. A Deal with a Stranger tells the story of Clara, a 25 year-old Sardinian girl, who tries to win back the boyfriend who left her.

At first it may seem like a typical love story, but there are many surprises in store, and unexpected turns, which keep the reader hooked and unable to put the book down.

The author is from Sardinia and clearly very passionate about her land, culture and traditions; the characters feel authentic and you are naturally drawn to them and really care about what happens to them.

It’s the perfect book to take on holiday with you or read at home while you relax. And if you haven’t been to Sardinia yet, this book will definitely inspire you to visit this beautiful Mediterranean island.

Andrew's reply Thank you Phil for the review. I have not read this book, so I can't personally recommend it, but I have heard great things about it.

Let's face it romance and Sardinia go together wonderfully well so I am sure this book is a great read from an Italian author who is beginning to earn a very good reputation - both in Italy and the UK/USA.

Delightful
by: Liz

A delightful read - really enjoyed the descriptions of the country side and the food. It really gave me a flavour of Sardinia and loved the story itself.
