Welcome to My Italy in May

I promised you we'd be going to the seaside this month and to the seaside we will go. Not just to one place but to six of the most gorgeous coastal destinations in all of Italy.

Then we'll spend a day in Venice with writer Modesta Tonan, visit a friend in Positano and find somewhere to stay nearby.

By this time you'll no doubt be hungry so we've drunken chicken cooking for lunch.

One thing - if you don't have HTML enabled not all the links will be highlighted and they won't work. If that is the case just copy and paste them into your browser. Copy up to where it says .html

1) A Day in Venice

Author Modesta Tonan takes us to Venice on a day out with the ladies. Click here to join the fun.

2) Six Very Special Coastal Destinations.

Italy's coastline is pretty much all beautiful but Maria and I decided to choose 6 stand-out destinations. This then is our final list.

3) A Lifetime of Positano

We've a friend who turned a summer on the Amalfi Coast into a new life in paradise. Read the lovely story here.

4) Drunken Chicken

Drunken chicken is a favourite of mine. It needs a lot of grappa and wine which means I always get the difficult job of tasting both beforehand... just to make sure they are suitable for the chicken of course ;-). Anyway here's the recipe.

Maria is calling me to get moving - the chicken is nearly ready. I need to finish off and send this now as after lunch the only thing I'll be doing is having a lovely nap. Enjoy your day too and we'll catch up again next month.

Ciao for now
Andrew & Maria
