Welcome to My Italy in August

Autumn is around the corner and there can hardly be a better place to spend this season than Piedmont.

What's on offer?

Rolling green hills, where vineyards run up and down in gold and red. Splashes of color here and there are villages bubbling with life and laughter. In the distance towering mountain peaks look down upon it all.

It is to this idyllic land we head before, finally, getting lost in Venice.

One thing - if you don't have HTML enabled not all the links will be highlighted and they won't work. If that is the case just copy and paste them into your browser. Copy up to where it says .html

1) Barolo

One of Italy's greatest wines is Barolo, at the center of this wine region is the town of Barolo itself. It's in Barolo that we'll make our first stop

2) Neive

Pretty as a postcard and completely unspoiled, it is little wonder that Neive has always been included on the official list of the most beautiful towns in Italy. In autumn it is at is best with the rolling hills ablaze with vines of gold and red. Read more here.

3) Feel @ Home

If you're visiting the Piedmont countryside you'll definitely want to stay somewhere that reflects and respects the history and traditions of this incredible territory. We've just the answer. Click for details.

4) Lost in Venice

I've said it before but it is worth repeating: when in Venice go and get lost. Maria explains why here.

Last thing before I go; I hope you don't mind the photos in the newsletter. If you want me to go back to the old way please just let me know.

Ciao for now
Andrew & Maria
