I recently had the luck to discover a wonderful wonderful book about the Langhe.


I believe with all my heart the Langhe to be the most beautiful and emotive wine region in the whole world and A Wine Atlas of the Langhe: The Great Barolo and Barbaresco Vineyards is the prefect book for those who have visited and fallen in love with the Langhe.

It is perfect too for anyone who has yet to visit, this book is the next best thing to being there. You will want to start making your travel plans for your Langhe holiday long before you reach the end. Don't delay get it now!!

Well, now the plug for the book is done I want to add that your Langhe hotels have always seemed spot on. I've stayed in three of the hotels you have on the website and I'm planning on La Villa for next summer. I trust it will be quite as good as you say it will be.

Andrew's reply: Graham I agree with you. It is a great book and I have been meaning to include it on my website about Italian wine for a fair while now but just never seem to do so. I think you have just given me the added incentive to stop being so lazy and to getting around to doing it.
