Italy Travel Books - Le Marche

Books on Italy are many and varied but books on le Marche are far fewer.

The Marche CountrysideThe Marche Countryside

This page is about those books, in English, which I've read on Le Marche.

They are all excellent reading, those that were not great I don’t list.

I am always on the lookout for good books about the Marche region, so if you've read one please share it at the bottom of this page.

In fact please share any great Italian related books you may have read.

Le Marche: an insider's guide

This book is packed full of detailed information on the Le Marche region. The part I like most about this book is the fact that they take you to those tiny little gems you'd never find on your own and really empower you to discover this region - their driving tours in particular are highly recommended.

The Blue Guide The Marche

Blue Guides are invariably comprehensive though sometimes I find them a little heavy going. This is one of the best though, especially recommended for those who would like to explore the fascinating art and history of the Marches in detail. Although the history of Le Marche is not widely known it is actually amazing just what an important part Le Marche has played in Italian history and how many major artists are from here.

Sibillini National Park

If you are visiting the Sibillini National Park and enjoy walking then get yourself a copy of Italy's Sibillini National Park: Walking and Trekking Guide . This is easily the most comprehensive guide to the area.
