La Villa Hotel - Piedmont Region

It sometimes seems that the Piedmont region is overshadowed by it’s more well known Tuscan cousins when it comes to superb hotels. Well I am pleased to tell you that this is no longer the case.

The La Villa Hotel beats them all hands-down. Visit La Villa (view site for details) and it becomes obvious why this hotel has been ranked as high as the third best hotel in Italy on Trip Advisor and why it won the Traveler’s Awards 10 'Hotel Gems' in Europe.

The owners have turned a dream into reality and the hotel is testament to an impressive labour of love.

Read the history section on their site to understand just how much work went into turning the La Villa hotel into the finest hotel in Piedmont.

Located in one of the loveliest parts of the Piedmont region, in the heart of the Piedmont winelands, near Asti. La Villa is surrounded by rolling hills, hilltop villages and glorious vineyards.

Piedmont is perhaps the region of Italy with the best food and wine so opening an hotel here means that expectations are high, I am pleased to say that Nicola and family have exceeded these expectations and considerably raised the bar.

Villa Hotel Piedmont Italy

The luxury is understated, service is impeccable and the hospitality that of yesteryear. Here you can unwind completely in the sort of place you will never want to leave.

Spend a week and I guarantee you will ask yourself why you don’t live in this most beautiful corner of Italy, you will certainly understand why Nicola and family have made this corner of the world their home.

Only 14 rooms are available, ranging from single rooms through to opulent suites. La Villa is very flexible though and nearly all group sizes can be accommodated. The hotel gardens are magnificent with a superb swimming pool and magnificent views from the terrace and much of the grounds.

One of the highlights is enjoying a wonderful breakfast or lunch under the covered pergola.

For those of you who enjoy wine, the wine tasting room will be one of your favourite spots. Here you can enjoy the finest of Piedmont wines in the company of Nicola who is extremely knowledgeable about the local wines.

If you would like more information on the hotel and booking information you can find it all here.
