Stazzi La China is the perfect base to explore northern Sardinia. Easily reached from Olbia (28 miles away), this working farm is a little corner of paradise. If you really want to get away from the stress and pace of the modern world and slow down to the simpler rhythms of yesteryear then get packed and head out to Stazzi La China.

The agri-tourism/ bed & breakfast is the realisation of a long held dream by two families and is situated on a working farm of forty hectares.

If you are considering a farmhouse holiday, Sardinia is perfect and this Sardinian farm is surely one of the most welcoming places you'll find on the whole island of Sardinia. That is really saying something as Sardinia itself is one of the most welcoming places I have ever been to.

Eating here is a pleasure; the food is genuine, authentic and 100% organic. The farm produces their own cheeses, salamis, hams, and their own Myrtle. Myrtle is Sardinian liquor that is like no other.

Accommodation is more than comfortable and all the lodges are traditional in style although fitted with the modern luxuries of life – air conditioning, fridges etc.

Things to Do

For things to do the choice is varied and there is something for everyone. Nearby is the delightful little village of Luogosanto. Over a thousand years old the town is of religious importance and is a site of pilgrimage for the whole region. The town has a fair number of interesting sights and it is well worth spending a little while here soaking up the atmosphere.

For many the real pleasure of a holiday at Stazzi La China is spending time on the farm, going for long walks and enjoying the lovely countryside. You can be assured of a magical experience that won’t be easily forgotten.
