Location is perfect, being in the delightful little countryside town of Almese - it feels like you are in the rural heartland of Italy but the wonderfully cosmopolitan city of Turin is only a twenty minute drive away too. 

Almese is known for its picturesque surroundings and natural beauty; the town is right on the doorstep of the stunning Susa Valley (click for our Susa guide) and offers ample opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking, mountain biking, and nature walks are popular, and the most famous Italian ski resorts, such as Bardonecchia, are only a short drive away.

In addition to its natural attractions, Almese boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage. The town is home to several historical landmarks, including the 17th-century San Martino Church and the medieval Castle of Almese, which provide a glimpse into the town's past.

Almese also offers a taste of authentic Italian cuisine. Visitors can indulge in local dishes and delicacies at the town's trattorias and restaurants, savoring the flavors of the region.
